Town Meeting

Town Meeting is held monthly during the semester, on the first Wednesday of each month. It enables the President to address all of the faculty, staff, and administrators on issues affecting the College and District, disseminate information, or highlight programs. Faculty and staff also have the opportunity to share information on upcoming events and activities with their colleagues.

Consistent with one of our core values statements (Global Responsibility), we are exploring ways that we can better demonstrate environmental sensitivity through improved recycling efforts and more sustainable methods of operation at the College. Consequently, we are making efforts to go "paperless" to the extent possible in sharing Town Hall announcements. There may remain a need to distribute reports, etc. for detailed issues (particularly when budget, enrollment, and other data are shared); but, for general announcements please submit your information electronically, rather than in hard copies. Once compiled, the announcements can be shown on the projector screen, sent via email, and posted here on the Intranet, which should allow for appropriate and adequate communication to faculty and staff.
