Evening Administrative Coverage

In case of an emergency on campus, from a College phone (landline) please dial Security at extension 1699; if calling from a cell phone while on campus, please dial (925) 424 - 1699.

In an effort to maintain a safe campus environment and to effectively and efficiently manage resources, Las Positas College has developed a plan for handling evening administrative coverage.

LPC's Department of Campus Safety & Security assumes primary responsibility for on-site administrative coverage during the evenings.  In addition to the 24/7 security services they provide, Campus Safety also serves as the ‘evening administrator’ on weeknights.  In the event of an emergency officers will initiate the approved protocol, which is outlined in the document below:

During the first and last weeks of each semester, when most questions and logistical issues occur, there will be an administrator on-campus to provide evening coverage.
